The "GLOW" blend: what the evidence says
At a glance
Caution Two different molecules are sold as "TB-500." The real TB-500 is a 7-amino-acid fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ). Some sellers list a formula and weight (about 4,963 g/mol) under "TB-500" that belong to the full 43-amino-acid thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4) protein, and some contradict themselves on the same page. Research on one doesn't automatically apply to the other, and human trials used only the full protein. Check which one a label describes. See TB-500. R1, R3
What it is: a gray-market vial that sellers say mixes three peptides: GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500. Seller-listed amounts are in the contents section below (label amounts, not doses). The contents are the seller's claim, not verified fact. R1
What the evidence says: the blend itself has never been studied, in animals or people. Each part has its own thin evidence, covered on its own page. R2
Biggest risks: three unknowns in one vial, plus uncertainty about which "TB-500" molecule is inside. Each ingredient is another chance for the wrong compound, wrong amount or contamination, and no one has studied how they act together. All three ingredients are reported to promote new blood vessel growth, a theoretical tumor concern. R4, R5, R9, R10

What is it?
"GLOW" is a marketing name for a three-peptide mix, not a standard product. No regulator or published source defines what it contains. Sellers that give a breakdown list 50 mg GHK-Cu + 10 mg BPC-157 + 10 mg TB-500 (70 mg per vial). These are label amounts, not doses. No independent lab test of the blend was found. No published study has tested this combination. R1, R2
Each component, separately
- GHK-Cu: small, mixed human skin data (Very limited). Injected GHK-Cu has No human data (animal studies only, mainly rats). It is also a copper complex. How much copper builds up from injecting it is unstudied. See GHK-Cu.
- BPC-157: promising in animals (mostly one lab). Essentially untested in people: three small clinic reports, no trials. Human evidence: Very limited. See BPC-157.
- TB-500: sellers mean either the 7-amino-acid fragment or the full Tβ4 protein. The fragment has No human data (animal and lab studies only, and very few of those). The full protein has a few small human trials (Limited), with mixed results. See TB-500.
Is it safe?
- Unknown No safety data for the blend, in animals or people. R2
- Human BPC-157: the few people studied (2 to 16 per report) had no reported side effects. That is far too few people to rule out rare or delayed harms. FDA flagged possible immune reactions and impurity problems, and says it lacks enough information to know whether BPC-157 harms people. R6, R7
- Unknown TB-500 fragment: no human safety data. FDA flagged a risk of immune reactions from aggregation (clumping) and impurities. Short IV (into a vein) studies of pharmaceutical-grade full Tβ4 reported only mild to moderate side effects. That does not carry over to a gray-market fragment. R6, R7
- Unknown GHK-Cu injected: no human safety data, and no formal animal toxicology found. FDA flagged injectable GHK-Cu for immune-reaction risk from aggregation (clumping) and impurities, with "limited data in humans." Copper build-up from injection: no data. R7, R9
- Caution Theoretical concern: all three ingredients are reported to promote new blood vessel growth (and Tβ4 helps cells move), which helps healing but could in theory also feed a tumor or help it spread. Whether combining them adds to this is unknown. No one has tested this in people. R4, R5
- Caution One vial, one ratio: you can't change one ingredient without changing the others, and you can't stop just one. If you have a side effect, you can't tell which one caused it.
What we don't know
- Unknown Anything about the blend itself: dose, effect, safety, interactions, stability in one vial
- Unknown Which "TB-500" molecule a given vial contains
- Unknown Long-term safety (including cancer and pregnancy)
Is it legal?
Not FDA-approved (GHK-Cu is sold legally as a cosmetic ingredient, not as a drug). Two components are banned at all times by WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency (2026 list): BPC-157 under S0 (non-approved substances) and "Thymosin-ß4 and its derivatives e.g. TB-500" under S2.3 (growth factors). GHK-Cu is not named on the list; whether S0 applies to it is not confirmed. FDA has flagged all three among compounding substances (pharmacies preparing custom medicines for individual patients, with a prescription) with safety risks (GHK-Cu for injectable routes). In July 2026 an FDA advisory committee recommended letting compounding pharmacies make BPC-157 Caution [UNVERIFIED: vote known from law-firm summaries, not FDA minutes, per the BPC-157 page]. That vote is advice only and doesn't change its legal status. As of Oct 15, 2026. R7, R8
What's in the vial?
A blend is harder to test than a single peptide. Each ingredient needs its own identity and amount check, and for "TB-500" the test must tell the fragment from the full protein. Some sellers post certificates of analysis (their own lab reports). We have not checked them UNVERIFIED, and a purity figure for a mixture doesn't confirm each ingredient's amount. We test retail vials blind under the Open Peptide Standard. See results at /tests/. A passing test covers one batch, tested on one date. It does not mean the compound itself is safe. R1, R10
What do users report?
Self-report, not evidence.
Unknown TBD. We'll only list this once we can cite a public source.
Conflicts of interest
- Sources: most BPC-157 animal research comes from one group at the University of Zagreb (Sikirić, Seiwerth), with thin independent replication. Most human Tβ4 research comes from a company program (RegeneRx-linked authors) Caution [UNVERIFIED: individual affiliations not checked against full texts]; one Chinese IV safety trial had three sponsor-employed authors (Beijing Northland Biotech). See the component pages.
- GHK-Cu: much of the review literature comes from one author affiliated with Skin Biology, a GHK-Cu company (Pickart; affiliation as listed on PubMed for PMIDs 18644225 and 29986520). Treat it as non-independent.
- This page: names and links no sellers. OPP currently takes no payment from sellers. If that changes, it will be disclosed here, and any future sponsorship is subject to the strict firewall on our How we make money page. Caution
Study details
R1, R2, R10 Background and contents (as of Oct 15, 2026)
- R1 UNVERIFIED Blend composition and per-vial amounts from seller listings only (not named or linked per policy): the sellers giving a breakdown agree on 50/10/10 mg (70 mg total). Some sellers list a formula (C212H350N56O78S) and weight (~4,963 g/mol) for "TB-500" that match full Tβ4 (43 aa, UniProt P62328), not the fragment; one seller's page also calls it "fragment 17-23, Ac-LKKTETQ," contradicting itself. TB-500 identified as Ac-LKKTETQ (Esposito 2012, PMID 22962027).
- R2 No PubMed record for the combination (search Oct 15, 2026).
- R3 Fragment's biological effects "have not been documented" (Rahaman 2024, PMID 38382158). See TB-500.
- R10 Open Peptide Standard: each component tested for identity and content separately; mass spec can tell the fragment from the full protein. Unknown Results pending.
R4–R9 Safety evidence (from the component pages)
- R4 BPC-157 angiogenesis: increased vessel growth and VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS signaling in chick embryo, rat and cell models (Hsieh 2017, PMID 27847966). A 2026 review lists "pathological angiogenesis" and "carcinogenesis" among potential risks of unregulated peptides including BPC-157 (Moiz 2026, PMID 42757290). Mechanistic only.
- R5 Tβ4 cancer concern: review describes Tβ4 as facilitating tumor metastasis and angiogenesis, with increased expression in several metastatic tumors (Xiao 2012, PMID 22856429). Associational only.
- R9 GHK-Cu: review states GHK "stimulates blood vessel and nerve outgrowth" (Pickart & Margolina 2018, PMID 29986520; both authors list R&D, Skin Biology as their affiliation on PubMed, while the paper declares no conflict of interest). Unknown No formal toxicology of injected GHK-Cu found; Unknown no data on copper load from injection.
- R6 Human safety: BPC-157 clinic reports (PMIDs 34324435, 39325560, 40131143); BPC-157 animal toxicology in mice, rats, rabbits and dogs, mostly well tolerated (Xu 2020, PMID 32334036); full Tβ4 IV safety in healthy volunteers (PMIDs 20536472, 34346165). Unknown No toxicology for the TB-500 fragment.
- R7 FDA: injectable GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and "Thymosin beta-4, fragment (LKKTETQ), also known as TB-500" are each on FDA's list of substances previously in Category 2 whose nominations were withdrawn. FDA cites immunogenicity and impurity concerns for all three and says it "has not identified any human exposure data" for TB-500; for injectable GHK-Cu it cites "limited data in humans" (FDA page).
- R8 WADA 2026: S0 names BPC-157; S2.3 names "Thymosin-ß4 and its derivatives e.g. TB-500". Prohibited at all times. GHK-Cu not named; UNVERIFIED whether S0 covers it. WADA 2026 list
