Help us build honest peptide science
The Open Peptide Project is an independent public-interest project (nonprofit incorporation in progress). We publish free, sourced research summaries on peptides, test retail products blind, and are working toward patient-led studies under independent ethics review. We don’t sell peptides, link to vendors, or let any funder influence our content or test results.
We’re looking for advisors with backgrounds in:
- Medicine (MD/DO), pharmacy (PharmD) or nursing (RN, NP)
- Peptide chemistry, pharmacology or analytical lab work (HPLC, LC-MS)
- Clinical research: trial design, biostatistics, IRB or regulatory work
- Bioethics, health law or nonprofit governance
What it involves: a few hours a quarter reviewing content or methods in your field, plus one or two video calls a year. It’s unpaid, you advise in a personal capacity, and you can step back any time.
What we ask: disclose any ties to peptide vendors, compounding pharmacies or drug sponsors (see our Conflict-of-Interest Disclosure). Ties don’t automatically rule you out, but they keep you out of reviews where there’s a conflict.
Interested? Email [email protected] with a short note about your background and what draws you to the project. A CV or LinkedIn link helps. We’ll set up a call to talk it through.
Privacy note: Inquiry emails are read only by the project founder and are never shared or added to mailing lists.
