Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix the page and record the fix here, so you can see what changed and when.

Our policy

  • What counts as a correction. A factual error on a published page. Examples: a wrong number, date, status or citation, a source that breaks our primary-source rule, or a claim a primary source doesn't support.
  • How fast. We aim to fix confirmed errors within 1 business day of confirming them.
  • How we fix it. The page is corrected in place. A dated note at the bottom of the entry says what changed, for example "Corrected 2026-10-30: …". The same note is listed below. We don't quietly delete errors.
  • What isn't listed here. Routine updates aren't corrections and don't appear on this page. These include:
  • new studies
  • new regulatory decisions
  • a sponsor topline later replaced by the published paper. That gets a dated "What changed" note on the entry.
  • "Last checked" date changes
  • spelling, formatting and layout fixes
  • Found an error? Email [email protected] with the page link and, if you can, a primary source. We read every report. If a report leads to a correction, we'll credit you here unless you ask us not to.
