Conflicts of interest: who writes our content, and what ties they have
This statement covers everyone who writes, checks or approves News entries, the Trial & Regulatory Tracker, the monthly digest and Evidence Library pages. Our Disclosure page covers ownership and funding. This page covers the people.
How content is made
- Every page is prepared as an evidence review by the Open Peptide Project. Each fact is checked against primary sources: PubMed records, ClinicalTrials.gov, and FDA, EMA and other regulator documents. Pages carry the line "Evidence review: Open Peptide Project (verified against primary PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov & FDA records)".
- Nothing is published until Adam Greene, the project's Founder, approves it.
- We don't give dosing advice. We don't link to, recommend or rate sellers.
Contributors and their ties
Adam Greene, Founder (sole decision-maker; approves all content)
- Employment and funding. The project is run personally by Adam and is self-funded by him. No university, drug company or other outside institution stands behind it. A nonprofit is being formed, and this statement will be updated when it is registered.
- Family tie to a peptide seller. Peptide Hall, which sells research peptides, is owned by Caleb Greene, a member of Adam's family. Caleb has no stake in the project. Peptide Hall never advertises on this site, its test batches are always labeled "Related party", and it has no say over testing or wording. Full details are on our Disclosure page.
- Holdings in companies we cover. None. Adam has no holdings related to peptides, including in any company whose products we cover (stated by Adam, Oct 29, 2026).
- Consulting, speaking or other payments from those companies in the last 3 years. None. Adam has never received consulting, speaking or other payments from Lilly, Novo or any company whose products we cover, and has received no money at all from the project (stated by Adam, Oct 29, 2026).
Advisory Board
We are recruiting unpaid scientific, clinical and analytical advisors. No advisor is reviewing content yet. Each advisor will file this same disclosure before their first review, and it will be listed here by name.
Rules that apply to every contributor
- Disclose first. Before working on any content, each contributor lists:
- individual holdings in covered companies
- consulting, speaking, advisory or research payments from them (last 3 years)
- employment, or a close family member's employment, at a drug maker, compounding pharmacy or peptide seller
- any other tie a reasonable reader would want to know about
We update this page within 30 days of any change. 2. Step aside when conflicted. A contributor who holds individual stock in a company, or was paid by it in the last 3 years, doesn't write, check or approve entries about that company's products. 3. Sponsors never buy coverage. We accept fenced sponsor cards in two places only: the News & Trial Tracker page and the monthly digest. Every card is clearly labeled "Sponsor" and set apart visually from our content. No card appears inside a news entry, and no card sits on or next to an entry about that sponsor's own products or competitors' readouts in the same drug class. Sponsors get no say in what we cover, no advance review and no influence on evidence levels. Sponsor cards never promote unapproved uses, peptide vendors or research-use-only sellers, and Peptide Hall can never be a sponsor. All sponsors are listed on our Disclosure page. If we have to cover a sponsor's product, the entry says so in a disclosure line. No sponsor money, ads or affiliate links appear in News entries, Library pages, test results or registry pages. No company sees a page before publication or gets a right to respond before it goes up. This matches the vendor firewall and rate card on our How we make money page. 4. No gifts or free product. Contributors don't accept free product, travel or meals from companies or sellers whose products we cover. Test samples are bought anonymously at retail, and we don't accept free vials (as on our Disclosure page). 5. Peptide Hall. Contributors never treat Peptide Hall differently from any other seller.
