CT-996 (RO7795081): what the evidence says

At a glance

What it is: Caution Not a peptide. CT-996 is a once-daily oral small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist from Roche (originally Carmot), not an amino-acid chain. It is listed here only because it is sold alongside research peptides. R1, R2

What the evidence says: Unknown three phase 1 trials are registered and two are complete, R1, R2, R3 but a PubMed search on Oct 27, 2026 found no peer-reviewed results. UNVERIFIED any weight-loss figures circulating from company presentations.

Biggest risks: expected GLP-1 class effects (nausea, vomiting); human safety data are not published.
